Quality Assurance

Quality first

Assurance from material to dispatch

JC Fire Door presents quality as a controlled process covering materials, fabrication, assembly, finishing and final release.

Every project can involve a different combination of performance, size, wall construction, hardware and finish. A disciplined inspection process helps ensure that the manufactured product reflects the approved technical submittal.

  • Approved drawings and production information
  • Material and component verification

Inspection stages

A repeatable quality workflow

01

Incoming material

Verify sheet, core, glass, seals and bought-out components against approved requirements.

02

Fabrication control

Check dimensions, profiles, reinforcements, welding and hardware preparations during manufacture.

03

Assembly inspection

Confirm handing, gaps, operation and compatibility of leaf, frame and selected hardware.

04

Surface finishing

Inspect preparation, coating appearance, colour and finish before packing.

05

Final release

Review identification, accessories, documentation, packing and dispatch readiness.

Verify project-specific evidence

Fire ratings and other performance claims apply to complete assemblies within their approved scope. Before procurement, confirm the current test certificate or assessment, configuration, dimensions, hardware, glazing, wall interface and installation method for each opening.
